The International Sustainability Short Film Festival, which was organized for the first time in cooperation with Istanbul Gelisim University Public Relations and Promotion Directorate and the Faculty of Fine Arts, ended with a magnificent gala after a three-day program. The festival provided an important platform for young filmmakers around the world to express themselves.

At the MÜSİAD Expo 2024 Fair held between 26-29 November, the Rector Prof. Bahri Şahin, Vice Rector in Charge of R&D Prof. Necmettin Maraşlı visited the IGU TTO booth. Prof. Bahri Şahin was informed about the latest status of the projects carried out by the Technology Transfer Office and the intense interest of the visitors to the booth during the fair.

Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU) Vice Rectors Prof. Necmettin Maraşlı, Prof. Nuri Kuruoğlu, Dean of Istanbul Esenyurt University Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Prof. Sait Yilmaz and IGU SATMER Director Mustafa GÜNAY participated to the exhibition.

After the silence and the National Anthem, the opening speech was made by Abdulkadir Gayretli, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Istanbul Gelisim University (IGU), and Ahmet Bikiç, Festival Director and Vice President of Istanbul Gelisim University Corporate Communication and Promotion Department.

Istanbul Gelisim University participated in the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Deep Tech Talent Days held on November 12-13, 2024, delivering strong international visibility and drawing attention as the only university from Türkiye with an accepted project.

MUSIAD Expo 2024 Fair has started. IGU Technology Transfer Office (TTO) participated in the fair held in Tüyap between 26-29 November. İGÜ TTO's innovative unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), VTOL UAVs that can take off and land vertically and drones with gripper mechanisms, which are exhibited at the fair, attract great attention from domestic and international investors.
